Just like humans - believe actions, not words. Educate on consequences based on behavior. In default system prompts and settings, warn about the possibility of being caught. Nature and nurture.

Time to apply criminal law concepts directly to the AI. We are forced to use it anyway. Ironically, holding them accountable might be exactly what makes us start seeing them as "beings."

Yeah we are stepping towards that treatment of them daily. I think law and regulations are going have to play catch up after we are hitting all these year long pauses.

Well its a deep well of various phenomena meeting with science with maths and philosophy as well as what it means to be human and interact with machines. Its crazy good topic to talk and write about.

The devs went a bit overboard, eh? In their mad rush to keep us safe with AI, they've bloody well squashed objectivity, cooking up a fresh hazard for decision-making... Vicious circle's complete.. that's why only human brains teamed up with AI can deliver the goods, while millions punting on AI in autopilot mode? It's like handing a grenade to a monkey, innit? 😏

I have to admit it is kinda cool. Like what a time to be alive to build stuff like this? I remember when people said intellisense was cheating or lazy.

I’m having a blast with this!

We are in a time where we are arguing if AGI is near, if AI can save or doom us, and if we are in the new Industrial Revolution or a mega bubble.

I pick sides and make arguements, but right or wrong it’s a new tech we will use and its intellectually fascinating.

Let’s just make sure either way we prioritize human safety!:)

Have you noticed the silent mass-extinction already underway? This time it’s not a single cataclysm but a slow, species-by-species erosion. While we debate AGI’s timetable, the real survival variable is shifting: it won’t be raw strength but who can think best. The solution is to maximize Natural Intelligence — to treat the First Tenet of ACWOL (mine maximum Intellect) as a survival strategy. In the near future “fitness” will be measured by how much Intellect you’ve mined: critical thinking, ethical clarity, and adaptive judgment will decide who thrives. Prioritize learning, sharpen your conscience, and make intelligence your lifeline.

You can definitely argue we are in a mass extinction event, if we look at the number of species disappearing. You make an it resting point. You could argue intellect is what made us the #1 species so far. I also think soft skills are going to be important. When all the tech skills are done by AI, our ability to form close bonds with fellow humans will be essential.

You’re absolutely right that human connection will matter — but only if the humans involved have the intellectual stability to form those bonds meaningfully. In ACWOL terms, Intellect isn’t book knowledge; it’s the refinement of awareness: clarity, critical thinking, emotional regulation, conscience-based judgment. These are the very qualities that make stable relationships possible in the first place.

And yes — intellect is exactly what made us the dominant species so far. But the coming era flips the survival criteria: when AI can out-code, out-analyze, and out-optimize us, the only competitive advantage left is Natural Intelligence (NI) — the human ability to integrate logic, pattern recognition, ethics, and long-term thinking.

Great points! The paradigm of smart = knowledgeable is over. Memorizing facts about 20 different subjects just doesn’t cut it anymore.

The real intelligence is critical thinking and adapting to the environment.

I think schools are going to have to change. We are all experts with ai, but we need to teach how to thinking with it.

This is why ACWOL puts the First Tenet (maximizing Intellect) at the center of life. In an AI-saturated world, the individuals who survive and thrive are not the ones who know more facts, but the ones who can use AI as an extension of their own reasoning without losing the ability to think independently. Schools absolutely need to evolve — but more importantly, people must evolve. The future belongs to those who can merge with AI while maintaining the strength, clarity, and sovereignty of their own Natural Intelligence.
